Saif bin Zayed, Indian Interior Minister discuss relations
WAM New Delhi, Nov 22nd, 2011 (WAM)--H. H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior arrived today in India, heading high-profile UAE delegation.
Sheikh Saif will sign two agreements on joint cooperation between the two friendly countries.
He discussed with his Indian counterpart Palaniappan Chidambaram during the dinner hosted in honour of the UAE delegation, issues on boosting the bilateral relations. The two sides also discussed joint security cooperation and ways to enhance it.
Sheikh Saif expressed his pleasure about the reception and hospitality exhibited by the Indian side, lauding the relations between the two friendly countries.
He was accompanied by Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha'far, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Nasser Lakhraibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and other senior officials.
